Sometimes the answer to a storage problem isn’t a bigger building, it’s better use of the one you’ve already got. Two-tier Unirack shelving lets you build upwards rather than outwards, effectively doubling your storage capacity within the same footprint.
A two-tier system is exactly what it sounds like: two levels of Unirack shelving, one stacked above the other, joined by a sturdy walkway and safe access via stairs or ladder. It’s built from the same modular components as the rest of the Unirack range: high quality, zinc-coated steel parts that bolt together quickly, with no specialist tools or skills required.
Although NOT designed for use with forklift truck operations, two-tier Unirack systems are ideal wherever businesses need to store a large volume of lighter or medium-weight goods: stock, spare parts, archives, files, or seasonal items, without the cost or disruption of building a full mezzanine floor.
Walkways can be constructed using ribbed, smooth or open planking, and include high quality handrails as standard, so your team can access the upper level safely and confidently.
