Industrial environments ask more of their shelving than almost any other setting. Factories, production facilities, workshops and garages all need storage that can take a daily beating:

Lightweight commercial shelving simply isn’t built for it.
Unirack industrial shelving was designed to fill the gap between cheap, lightweight shelving and full heavyweight pallet racking. Manufactured from high-tensile, zinc-coated steel and certified to the highest standards, a Unirack bay can carry loads of up to 4800 daN, more than enough for the vast majority of hand-loaded industrial storage, at a fraction of the cost of a pallet racking installation.
It’s worth being clear… Unirack is NOT a pallet racking system and is not designed for loading by forklift. For everything loaded and picked by hand, however, Unirack is one of the most capable and cost-effective systems available today.
Where Unirack really earns its keep in industrial settings is versatility. The same modular components can be configured as single-tier runs, or built up to eight metres high over two tiers, complete with suspended walkways, staircases and handrails. Walkways can be constructed using ribbed, smooth or open planking, and can carry loads of up to 300 daN per square metre, so high-volume storage can be achieved upwards rather than outwards.
