Some of the clients we've supplied

Unirack shelving is deliberately not a pallet racking system. It’s a hand-loaded shelving system, and we’ve always been upfront about that. But many of the warehouses we work in need both: Shelving for hand-picked stock, and proper racking for forklift-loaded pallets. That’s why, alongside Unirack, we supply and install a complete range of pallet racking made by the same European manufacturer behind Unirack shelving, and sourced through the same UK importer.

Medium-duty to heavy-duty in one range

The range covers everything from everyday medium-duty pallet storage right through to heavy-duty and highly specialised applications, with frame load options of up to 20 tonnes. Closed-box upright profiles give the structures excellent rigidity, with significant resistance against rupture and deformation and good performance in the case of accidental impact, an everyday reality in any busy warehouse with forklift traffic. For the most technically demanding projects, an extra-heavy-duty upright profile is available.

Quality that runs through the steel

Quality runs right through the steel itself. All structural components are produced from certified high-tensile structural steels in accordance with EN10204 standards (accompanies by a 3.1 certificate), and made from galvanised steel using the Sendzmir process, ensuring a high level of durability with no painting required. Beams can also be supplied with an additional powder-coated layer, providing extra protection and exceptional visibility in busy aisles. All components are CE marked.

A beam connection that stands apart

The beam-to-upright connection is where this racking really stands apart. Beams connect to both the front and inside faces of the upright with up to 5 anchor points (3 in tension, 2 in compression), using tapered slots that actually increase performance under higher loads. THe patented locking design holds brackets firmly in position, impairs beam rotation and improves load-bearing capacity. And with beam levels adjustable on a fine pitch (down to 33mm on selected configurations, 50mm as standard), the racking can be fine-tuned to your exact pallet heights and re-profiled easily as your stock changes.

Built for far more than standard racking

The same family of systems is proven in:

  • High-density drive-in installations
  • Push back and gravity (pallet live) systems
  • Multi-tier structures
  • Mezzanine applications
  • Fully automated warehouses
  • Rack-clad buildings

Whatever your throughput, pallet sizes and building, there’s a configuration to match, backed by a wide range of standardised accessories.

Works beautifully with Unirack shelving

Because our pallet racking and Unirack shelving come from the same manufacturer, the two systems work beautifully together. Many of our customers run pallet racking with forklift aisles for palletised stock, alongside Unirack for hand-picked items, spares and smaller goods. If you’re wondering how best to combine the two, give our office a call… Our staff will be pleased to discuss the project and produce free CAD drawings showing how the systems can be integrated in your space.

Why Unirack?

We can design and supply your pallet racking, or design, supply and install the complete system for you. Based in Nottingham, we’re a national company covering the whole of the UK, with qualified, competent installation teams based up and down the country.
